Growing Through Small Groups
We figure that if Jesus felt that drawing some men together to grow them in to mature followers and servants was important - then it is important for us also!
We call these groups "Growing In The Son". We make an intentional effort to grow in our faith. So we spend time in:
- Fellowship, caring for each other;
- Worship, setting our hearts and minds on the Lord;
- Prayer, boldly coming to the Lord to intercede for one another, our community and world;
- Bible Study, digging in to the Bible to discover God's truth for our lives;
- Serving, putting feet to our prayers by meeting needs we are aware of;
- Outreach, sharing the love of God with our community.
Everyone is welcome. You aren't expected to know anything about the Bible and you won't be expected to pray out loud. Participate as you are comfortable.
We include all ages from youth to senior adult in our groups because youth need the wisdom of senior adults and senior adults need the vitality of the youth. Where most churches separate youth out, they then often wonder why youth drop out of church when they become adults - could it be that they were never part of the church in the first place? Jesus welcomed everyone, we want to do the same.
Sunday Morning - 9:30 - 10:45 AM
- Infants-Preschool - Preschool Room 2
- 1st Grade - 5th Grade - Children’s Room
- Youth and Adults - Fellowship Hall
