Worship is all about honoring God, who gives us hope.
Romans 12:1 (NIV) Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.
Whatever we do, is to be an act of worship!
Singing ... Praising ... Praying ... Bible Study ... Fellowshipping ... Serving
But also ...
Playing ... Working ... Studying ... Eating ... Chores ... Exercising ... Everything!
Therefore, as we are connected to God and experience His hope in our lives, our response should be to praise and worship Him.
At Hope our worship service is just the launching pad for worshiping God. Our worship is to focus us on God, and inspire us to go out living a life that brings glory to God.
So, our worship is not about entertainment or performance, it is about coming together as the family of God to encounter His Word and Spirit.
We sing hymns and choruses. We believe their is great value in the great hymns and that God is also giving the church fresh new songs that bring Him praise.
We may see a video about what God is doing around the world, or there may be a solo, or someone might share about what God has done in their life.
There will be prayer and preaching.
There will be a time to respond to the Spirit's call within your heart.
Join us for worship and then go out into the world living with hope, living through worship.
