Cards and Letters:
- Send a card to someone who is struggling, include a scripture verse.
- Make or buy an actual birthday or anniversary card.
- Leave cards of hope randomly at locations you visit.
- Send a letter to someone who has encouraged you, include a written prayer for them.
- Have your children draw a picture for an elderly couple in your church or neighborhood.
- Emails and texts - scroll through your address list each day and send someone a message of hope.
- Write a card or letter to a teacher; police officer; fireman; judge; city, county, state or national official ... and thank them for their service.
- Write a note and send it to a soldier serving overseas.
- Write a note or send an email to a missionary.
- Write a note to a Christian suffering persecution in another country. Go to www.opendoorsusa.org/take-action/write/
- Send a card to someone on the anniversary of the death of a loved one.

Serve:
- When a neighbor is sick or out of town, mow their lawn or shovel their driveway.
- Offer to watch the kids of a young couple so they can go out on a date, if you can give them a gift card to a restaurant.
- When you go on walks, take a sack, and pick up trash along the way.
- Surprise your parents or spouse and do a chore that they normally do - and do it well!
- Offer to give rides to church for those who don't have transportation.
- Run an errand for a senior adult who has trouble getting around town.

Time:
- Share the Good News of Jesus Christ with a family member, friend, or someone you just "happen" to meet!
- Take someone you know is hurting out for coffee or a meal and simply listen.
- When you are checking out at a store or are at a restaurant, talk to the checker or waiter as a person, refer to them by name, ask if they have a prayer request.
- Invite someone to attend church with you and then take them out to lunch afterwards.
- Make a date with your kids individually, one day to do something special with them.
- Pray with someone that needs prayer.

Share:
- There are Bibles made for just about every group or interest you can think of, buy one for someone you know. Encourage them to begin by reading the Gospel of John.
- Cut some flowers from your yard, put them in a mason jar and give them to a neighbor.
- Fix a plate of cookies for a teacher, secretary, kids in the neighborhood, ...
