There are four steps to Join:
Step 1 - Share Your Request To Join
If you believe that God is or may be leading you to join our church, you may indicate your desire to join by:
Step 2 - Visit With The Pastor
He wants to get to know you, but even more he wants you to have full assurance that Jesus Christ is your Savior and Lord. If you are not sure, the pastor will share with you how to put your faith in Jesus. To find out more, see: Searching for hope?
Step 3 - Attend an Experiencing Hope Session
This is an orientation session with the pastor that explains what Hope is all about and how Hope operates. The session will also include what is expected of members and what members can expect of the church. You will meet other new prospective members and even discover new insights into your own spiritual life.

Once you have completed Experiencing Hope session, you are ready for the final step.
Step 4 - Join The Church
If you decide to join the church, you may join in one of three ways:

- Contacting the pastor to let him know of your decision. [email protected]
- Responding to the pastor's invitation at the end of the worship service.

Step 4 - Join The Church
If you decide to join the church, you may join in one of three ways:
- By baptism. Baptism is a symbol, telling the world, that you are identifying yourself with Jesus Christ who was crucified, buried and rose again. Baptism first symbolizes that you have died in and to your sin, and so you are 'buried' (immersed) under the water. Baptism is also a symbol that you have been given new life in Jesus Christ and so you are 'raised' back up to new life in Jesus. It is a wonderful celebration of your faith in Christ.
- By transfer of membership. If you are a member in good standing of another Baptist church, you may ask for your membership to be transferred to Hope. The pastor will then present you to the church for membership.
- By your statement. If you are already a Christian and have been baptized by immersion in a church of similar belief and practice, you may join Hope by making a statement that Jesus Christ is your Savior and acknowledge that you have been baptized by immersion. The pastor will then present you to the church for membership.
